Radio Broadcasts
Programs can be heard on KQED 88.5FM or KQED.org three times throughout the week: Sundays at 1pm, Tuesdays at 10pm, and Wednesdays at 1am. Schedule below shows the date of the Sunday broadcast.
In addition to our local KQED broadcast, City Arts & Lectures is carried by over 130 public radio affiliates nationwide. Check out the full list to find a station near you. If a station streams live on their website, we’ve linked it.
We are excited to announce that programs are now also available directly on our website and on our podcast, from the Sunday of their original radio broadcast onward. The podcast is called City Arts & Lectures, and is available on iTunes, Stitcher, Spotify, Google Play, and TuneIn.
Our past 33 seasons of programming have been digitally archived at the Bancroft Library at the University of California, Berkeley. Those wishing to hear the archived programs can make a personal visit to the library. A list of shows can be viewed on the UC Berkeley Web Catalog.
