City Arts & Lectures has restored and reopened the Nourse Theater, a stunning 1693-seat hall closed to the public for over thirty years. Located in the heart of San Francisco’s Performing Arts Center, it is an ideal venue for our programs as well as those of other presenters. Thanks to the generosity of our audience and supporters, we’ve raised all of the necessary funds to complete the first phase of the project. We continue to make improvements, and if you wish to contribute, please call 415-563-2463. Watch a TV segment on ABC7 news here. Read about it in the Huffington Post here the New York Times here and the San Francisco Chronicle here
