David Eagleman is a neuroscientist and author best known for his work on time perception, synesthesia, and neurolaw. His New York Times best-selling book, Incognito: The Secret Lives of the Brain, explores the neuroscience of the conscious mind. His previous book, Wednesday is Indigo Blue, co-authored with Richard E. Cytowic, was an exploration of the neurological condition of synesthesia, in which the senses are blended. David Eagleman directs the Laboratory for Perception and Action as well as the Initiative on Neuroscience and Law at the Baylor College of Medicine.
