Jeffrey Toobin is a staff writer at The New Yorker, a senior legal analyst at CNN, and the author of multiple bestselling books, including The Oath and The Run of His Life. His latest book, True Crimes and Misdemeanors: The Investigation of Donald Trump, is a real-life legal thriller about the prosecutors and congressional investigators pursuing the truth about Donald Trump’s complicity in several crimes–and why they failed. Well known for his ability to illuminate the complexities of our judicial system, Toobin has covered some of the country’s most sensational news stories and high-profile cases, such as the Starr investigation of President Clinton, Martha Stewart’s legal battles, the O.J. Simpson trial, and numerous Supreme Court cases.
