Bobby Berk is best known as the interior designer on the hit Netflix show Queer Eye. Berk, alongside his four co-stars, bring change to people’s lives by transforming their homes and teaching them the importance of a happy living space–all the while challenging social norms and inspiring personal growth, both in its subjects and the hosts themselves. With three Emmy Awards and multiple People’s Choice Award nominations, the show has become a global hit, airing in over 100 countries. Before becoming a television personality, Berk lived in New York for more than twenty years, where he immersed himself in the retail world, working his way up in companies like Bed Bath & Beyond and Restoration Hardware, later starting his own company. Full of tips and inspiration, his new book Right at Home: How Good Design Is Good for the Mind, shows how good design can aid mental wellness and help achieve a new sense of happiness within the home.
