Each week on City Arts & Lectures, Academy Award-winning actor
Linda Hunt introduces public radio listeners to a unique series
of programs with some of the most distinguished cultural figures
of our day. City Arts & Lectures brings artists, critics, performers,
and social observers together with a variety of skilled interviewers
for on-stage conversations in San Francisco's historic Herbst Theatre.
The theatre audience also participates in asking questions of our
guests.
Highlights from City Arts & Lectures' most recent season of more
than fifty programs include Garrison Keillor with poets Billy Collins
and Kay Ryan; Joan Didion with Dave Eggers; actor Philip Seymour
Hoffman; singer Linda Ronstadt; Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer
with Jeffrey Toobin, Stephen Colbert of the Colbert Report, and
novelist Zadie Smith.
Produced in association with KQED Public Radio, each program is
an hour in length and flexible rights allow stations to use the
series on a weekly or occasional basis, free of charge. Each season
offers more than fifty programs from which to choose. For more information
on how to add us to your radio schedule, please contact Erik Blangsted,
