Jeffrey Toobin

Highly regarded in both broadcast and print, Emmy-award winning
journalist Jeffrey Toobin is an analyst for CNN and long
time staff writer for The New Yorker. Before entering the
world of journalism, Toobin earned a law degree from Harvard, clerked
for a Federal Judge, and worked as an Assistant U.S. Attorney. Toobin's
realm of expertise includes American politics, media, and the law.
Well known for his ability to illuminate the complexities of our
judicial system, Toobin has covered of some of the country's most
sensational news stories. Toobin reported on the murder trial of
O.J. Simpson, the disputed 2001 Florida recount, the Paula Jones
sexual harassment case, and the trial of Timothy McVeigh. Toobin's
bestselling books include, The Nine: Inside the Secret World
of the Supreme Court; Too Close to Call: The Thirty-Six-Day Battle
to Decide the 2000 Election; A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of
the Sex Scandal that Nearly Brought Down a President; and
The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson.
Veteran interviewer Roy Eisenhardt practiced law for twelve years in San Francisco and taught at UC Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law. He was President of the Oakland Athletics and served as the Executive Director for the California Academy of Sciences.
